En mi equipo tengo dos distribuciones instaladas: Archlinux y Frugalware. En Archlinux X windows funciona perfecto, pero en la otra distro no esta tan bien.
A continuacion los detalles:
1 Cuando arranco startx en Archlinux no se produce ningun parpadeo y el escritorio aparece sin problemas; En cambio en Frugalware al arrancar con startx la pantalla parpadea dos veces y aparece el escritorio.(Este parpadeo no me gusta).
2 En Archlinux el servidor X jamas se me ha caido cuando trabajo; en cambio en frugalware se me ha caido cuando trabajo y debo apagar la maquina para restaurarlo.

Aqui puedo decir que el modulo "intefb" me resulta raro. Un tiempo atras use dreamlinux que usaba el mismo modulo y provocaba los mismos problemas en mi laptop. la termine desinstaldo por eso mismo.
