Intentando instalar Debian {solucionado}

Hola a todos, estoy nuevamente tratando de instalar Debian pero no puedo, voy a esta pagina:

http://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/7.6 ... 4/iso-dvd/

descargo primero la iso de 4.4 GB, la trato de quemar y no lo hace, aunque si me dana el dvd

entonces voy a la iso de 4.3 GB, intento quemarla, pero nada, lo mismo y también me deja el dvd inutilizable.

Esas instrucciones del sitio de Debian han sido siempre muy difíciles para mi, si alguien puede decirme, por favor, de donde puedo ahora instalar debian, gracias.

Probaste usando pendrives?

has comprobado que los ficheros descargados han llegado correctamente?? usa los checksum para eso, MD5 o SHA1.

Yo es que debian solo lo he probado en máquina virtual así que no sé demasiado... pero seguro que en los foros de debian te lo sabrían decir mucho mejor.
Conocimiento libre para el pensamiento libre.

bájate el CD-1 (solo ese, que ya es más que suficiente), mételo en un pendrive (mediante Unetbootin, o Multisystem_LiveUSB multiBoot) e instala conectado a internet.

hola, no me acabo de modernizar, nunca trabajo con pendrives, mi pregunta para ti doc, puedo usar un dvd con este link? gracias.

Hola doc, no pude esperar tu respuesta ... ya esta instalado, entro muy bien y se ve estable, sin fallos.

Solo dos problemas,

Que gnome 3 fallo al descargar (me asegure de que estuviera instalado en el synaptic, ahí esta, incluido tambien gnome shell)
No se ahora que hacer con esto. En las opciones, solo aparecen Gnome, Gnome clasic y "predeterminado", las trate todas, nada.

Lo otro es que la hora esta desplegada igualmente que en Kali, horario militar, por mas que la arregle, aparece correctamente en mi ajuste, pero arriba sigue sin cambiar -- también fui a nano y cambie a hora LOCAL, pero nada, ya no se que hacer.

¿Hola que problema específicamente tienes con gnome?, lo que logro entender es que gnome-shell no arranca y el sistema entra con gnome-clasic; si esto es así, puede que te falten instalar algún controlador gráfico. Lanza desde el terminal el comando:

lspci
y da a conocer los resultados.

En cuanto a la hora no sabría decirte por el momento.

Hola enrrique con las horas aparecen mas fallos.

Tengo a veces que "meterle el dedo", se paraliza durante el encendido.

En pantalla negra, cuando comienza a bajar toda esa información rápida, puedo leer:

Network detection system intruction snort ... etho ERROR ... Fail (en letras rojas)

Radeon kernel require firware -- y algo mas que no puedo leer, muy rápido.

Dependiendo de en que parte se produscan esos mensajes podes hacer un "dmesg" para saber que dice

Hola, por lo que describes y por el hardware que tienes, la solucion al problema es intalar los firmware no libres de la tarjeta gráfica (también necesitas el controlador para la wifi), procede de la siguiente forma:
1. Edita el archivo sources.list, para ello como root lanza el comando:

nano /etc/apt/sources.list
Modifica el archivo antes mencionado para que quede así:

Guarda los cambios

2. Lanza como root

apt-get update
3.Instala los firmware de tu tarjeta gráfica y wifi:
apt-get install firmware-linux firmware-linux-free firmware-linux-nonfree firmware-realtek
4. Reinicia la computadora, y ya debería arrancar gnome-shell.

Bueno, supongo que no fue una pregunta correcta la que hice, aquí, te dejo lo que puse en la terminal, despues de los cambios en nano, no funciona, no hace updates --deje a nano tal y como me indicaste (guarde en gedit lo que tenia antes, en caso que tenga que regresar a lo anterior).

Tenes internet cableada??????????, ifconfig y "cat /etc/resolv.conf" porque el mensaje que te da me da la impresión que no estas trabajando en una red cableada

Nota: Solo por si ayuda en algo. Hice un update en Kali me actualizo y me envío muchos firmwares, etc. También actualice otros sistemas.

Hola, edita nuevamente como root el archivo sources.list.

nano /etc/apt/sources.list
y modificalo para que te quede así.

luego sigues las instrucciones que mencione en el anterior post.

Por otro lado si no quieres usar wifi entonces puede que no te interese instalar el paquete firmware-realtek.
